My 18-200 lense was finally repaired this month, and I continue to be amazed at how insane the zoom is.

This shot, of a coyote on the frozen river, was taken from the shore, hundreds of metres away. It's a little fuzzy, but the fact I could see it at all is amazing. I only really have a workman's grasp of my camera and its lenses and what they can and can't do, something I'd like to change this year.
First time I seen one of these things. It was just making its lazy way up the centre of the river toward the bay, no care in the world.
