The fireworks display there is legendary, although it was nice to be able to see it without rubbing shoulders with the two million strong crowd of revellers on the beach itself.

Good bye, 2009, and good fucking riddance. 2009 sucked even worse than 2007. May 2010 capture the hopeful spirit of 2008.
